I did it! I made my first plate of BBQ ribs tonight! You have no idea how long I have wanted to try cooking ribs. However, I was always scared that I would not have enough time or I'd mess it up. Today, I just did it without thinking. Thanks to the Ralph and Kacco's... it turned out dang good! Tish, who normally doesn't even like BBQ ribs, thought it was just right. I gave it a dry rub last night, roasted it in the oven for 2 hours and then baked it with BBQ sauce for another.
The meat was falling off the bones and the flavor was succulant. My one complain was the meat was a bit fat.... since I used country style ribs rather a rack of spares. I also made country fried potatoes with it... dang it maked me hungry just thinking about it! :-)
